Safety

Safety Center

This page covers how verification works, what it does not prove, how moderation works, what Block and Report actually do, and how to meet someone safely. Felon Luv is a matchmaking and connection platform, and safety here is a shared effort rather than a guarantee.

Identity

How verification works

Verification is optional and starts from your own account. Sign in and open Verification, then take a live selfie with your camera and photograph the front of your government ID with your camera.

Both photos are uploaded privately for the check. They are not posted on your profile, and no other member sees them.

When you tap “Verify me”, an automated identity check compares the face on the ID with the face in your selfie and reads the age on the ID. If the faces match and the ID shows an adult, your profile gets the verified badge — the blue “Verified” pill that sits next to a member's name on their profile.

Two limits are built in: an account gets up to 5 checks a day, and the same two files cannot be used for another member's check.

The badge looks like this: Verified

Verified = ID + live selfie matched. Proves identity, not character.

The limits

What verification does not prove

Verification proves identity, not character.

A badge means an identity check passed. It does not prove that a person is safe, honest or kind. It is not a background check, and Felon Luv does not guarantee any member.

Take the same care with a verified member as with an unverified one.

Moderation

Moderation

Reports are collected in a moderation queue that admins review.

Admins can hide or remove a post or a channel, hide a room or take it off air, and suspend a member's account.

Reporting is how something reaches that queue.

Your controls

Block and report

Block in Matches: every match card has a Block button. One tap and that match is removed from your list.

Block in a Know: the header of a Know conversation has a Block button. It stops that person reaching you and takes you out of the conversation.

Everyone you have blocked is listed in your Profile, where you can review the list and unblock someone.

Report in a Know: tap Report in the conversation header, choose a reason — Harassment, Spam or scam, Fake profile, Inappropriate content, or Something else — add an optional note, and send. It goes to the admin moderation queue.

For anything else — a post, a room, or a person outside a Know conversation — there is no report button. Use the Support button at the bottom right of any screen, or email mavendex@gmail.com, and say who it was and what happened.

In person

Meet safely

Meeting someone for the first time deserves the same care here as anywhere else.

  • Meet in a public place first, and stay in public.
  • Tell a friend or family member where you are going, who you are meeting, and when you expect to be back.
  • Arrange your own transport so you can leave when you want to.
  • Keep personal and financial information private: your home address, your daily routine, and your bank or payment details.
  • Never send money — not for travel, an emergency, a fee, or a gift card — however convincing the story. If someone asks for money, stop, and consider blocking or reporting them.
  • Trust your instincts. You can stop replying, block, or leave at any time.

Age

Adults 18 and over only

Felon Luv is for adults 18 and over only.

Verification checks that the ID shows an adult, and mature rooms ask for an extra 18+ confirmation before entry.

Creating an account does not itself check anyone's age.

Support

Need help?

The Support button sits at the bottom right of every screen and passes anything it cannot answer to the team. You can also use the Contact page, or email mavendex@gmail.com.
