Getting started
How Felon Luv works
Felon Luv is a matchmaking and connection platform. This page walks you through, in order, what a member does here: you create an account, you answer the questionnaire, you heart or pass on people, you meet in Rooms and join Hunts, and then there is work, ventures and housing.
Consider this the public overview of the members' Playbook. Same ground, shorter form, so you can read it before you create an account — the Playbook holds the longer version with the games and the hidden things in it.
Create your account
Creating an account is free.
Felon Luv is for adults 18 and over only, and creating an account does not itself check anyone's age.
Verification is a separate step you choose to complete as part of getting verified. You sign in, open Verification, take a live selfie with your camera, photograph your government ID with your camera, then tap “Verify me”.
Verified = ID + live selfie matched. Proves identity, not character.
Answer the questionnaire
After creating an account, you answer one honest questionnaire, and you say what you are here for — you can change that whenever it changes.
Your answers power your matches; they are never sold and are not shown raw to anyone.
Heart or pass
You see a list of potential partners. Heart the people you are interested in, or pass on the ones you are not.
When two people heart each other, that mutual heart opens messaging between them, so a conversation starts only when there is interest on both sides.
Meet in Rooms and join Hunts
Rooms are where members meet live. Ordinary rooms are free to start, with no unlock and no gate; some rooms are marked mature and are 18+ only and ask for an extra 18+ confirmation before entry.
A Hunt is a scheduled skill game — trivia, word sprints, quick-draw votes: open the Hunts board and pick one in your mode, play live and watch the leaderboard; you can also start a Hunt of your own — choose the game, set the day and time, and open it to the room.
Every weekly digest carries a quest, one small specific thing to do in the app, and finishing a quest puts a badge on your profile.
Work, ventures & housing
For work, look for jobs with felony-friendly employers — every employer states exactly which convictions they will and won't consider.
Ventures are founders and investors building together: pitch an idea or join someone else's.
Housing and other reentry help sits in Resources.
